While browsing through my archives, I realized that I’ve missed the one-year anniversary of my blog by almost a week.  

I can’t even describe my feelings right now…just: wow.

A year and six days ago, I was an extremely bored teenager who decided to make a tumblr because, why not?

A year and six days ago, my knowledge in high fashion was a definite nil, and I only vaguely knew four designers: Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada.

A year and three days ago, I would have pronounced Givenchy as gi-ven-chee and Versace as ver-sase.

But most of all, thank you.

Thank you, for giving me this chance to truly discover my passion for high fashion, that would have otherwise remained concealed for an indefinite period of time.

Thank you, for being the constant source of support and encouragement; whenever I was feeling despondent or stressful, just reading the messages I received from you lovelies instantaneously lifted my spirits.

Thank you, my friends in real life (though most of you won’t ever see this), for always believing in me, whether you showed it by browsing through my blog and showing our classmates, by following me regardless of what I post, or just by saying, “Wow, these dresses on your blog are so pretty!”

Thank you, my parents, for actually supporting and viewing my blog as an accomplishment of which to be proud.

I can confidently assert that creating and continuing this blog was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I owe it all to this huge network of people around me, many of whom I’ll probably never meet in this lifetime.

But thank you, thank you, thank you. The least I can do is to continue posting photos for many years to come! <3
