once upon a time, a little girl closed her eyes and dreamed of a future filled with flouncy ball gowns, love at first sight, and eternal bliss. but as the glimmer of childish innocence faded and soon departed forever from her eyes, she still steadfastly—obstinately, even—believed in the possibility of having a “happily ever after.” 

she opens her eyes to the grim, bleak reality and finds herself in a familiar maelstrom of stress and fears. she grits her teeth and prepares for the inevitable hardships up the pathway to success. but don’t forget to keep dreaming on the way there, little girl. then, perhaps, you’ll stumble upon your very own “happily ever after.”

so welcome. welcome to this world of chiffon, pearls, tulle, and everything beautiful; welcome to an infinitesimal slice of my soul.

I am…a diligent student, an avid reader, a rusty pianist, a failed artist, an admirer of beauty and haute couture, and most of all, a steadfast dreamer of the impossible.
